The Publisher Influence Standards is a practical framework designed to bring structure and clarity to how publishers approach creator partnerships. Developed in response to the rapid growth of influencer marketing, it helps teams move beyond vanity metrics and focus on measurable, meaningful outcomes. Built as a checklist across three stages before, during and after a campaign, it guides users through defining objectives, reaching the right audiences, maintaining editorial integrity and optimising performance. Grounded in principles of audience quality, trust and continuous test-and-learn, it supports both short-term results and long-term value. Launched at the PPA Festival 2026, the Standards were developed alongside the PPA (Professional Publishers Association), the UK’s leading trade body for specialist media.
